Speeding: At 8:18 p.m., police stopped Eric Dennison, 32, of New York, N.Y., after he was allegedly found speeding on Main Street. Dennison was traveling 68 mph in a 30 mph zone, police said, and he was issued a must appear summons to appear in court on Feb. 4 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey.
Wednesday, Jan. 1
Intoxication: At 12 a.m., police say they found Richard Matthews, 31, of Greenfield walking along Route 101 in a state of intoxication. Matthews was taken into protective custody, and was later released to his family.
Friday, Jan. 3
Car off road: At 6:28 p.m., police responded to a car off the road on Route 101 by Gerry Road. The driver, Alissa Patel, 28, of Hudson, was driving a 2002 Honda Accord when the car went off the road into a snowbank. The Honda sustained minor damage, but was moved back onto the road and was driven from the scene. No injuries were reported. According to police, poor weather conditions were the cause of the accident.

Speeding: At 11:15 a.m., police stopped Todd Dissell, 42, of Keene after he was found speeding on Main Street by Old Common Road. Dissell was allegedly traveling 57 mph in a 30 mph zone, and he was issued a must appear summons to appear in court on Mar. 4 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey.
