To the editor:
It is Monday morning, April 14 and it is sunny and warm, and the downtown parking lot by the theater is full. However, the 10 spaces the town developed for parking down by the firehouse are empty. I guess it’s just too much to walk all the way to the center of town from there!
I would suggest the town makes 10 spaces by the wall facing the diner two- or three-hour parking, instead of all-day parking, right away. It would only take a few signs. We need to nudge 10 good people to help the businesses downtown to have some parking for customers.
