Gratitude for good medical care
To the editor:
Except for a special “thank you,” words cannot express how appreciative I am for the professional care, handling and compassion I’ve received on my recent visit to the hospital.
Possibly from a recent back surgical procedure from a distant hospital, I awoke on Mother’s Day basically paralyzed. With the advice of “nurses on call,” Souhegan Valley Ambulance Services was dispatched and I was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital whereby I was admitted.
To all who responded, especially to the EMT who started an IV, over the rough ride, without pain.
To the staff of doctors and nurses in the emergency room and on the floor (the folks who took good care of me).
From the top of the staff down to the meal servers, I thank you.
