Guitar music in Saturday concert

A concert entitled “A Summer Serenade” will be presented at the Temple Town Hall on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Special guest guitarist Oren Fader joins Electric Earth musicians Laura Gilbert, flute, Elizabeth Anderson, cello, and Jonathan Bagg, viola, for a program of chamber music with flavors from around the world.

Works to be performed are Niccolo Paganini’s “Terzetto Concertante for viola, cello, and guitar”; Dusan Bogdanovic’s “Intimate Pieces for cello and guitar”; Albert Roussel’s “Serenade for flute, viola, and cello”; Schubert-Matiegka’s “Variations for flute, viola, cello, and guitar”; and Astor Piazzola’s “Histoire du Tango for flute and guitar.”

Tickets are $25 and can be reserved by email: eeconcerts@gmail.com or phone: 593-5245. Admission to all Electric Earth concerts is free to middle school and high school students.
