Ravens add team; announce tryouts

New England Ravens AAU baseball is adding a 10 and under team to its organization for next year.

The Ravens, founded in 2009 by Franklin Pierce University baseball coach Jayson King, will also field teams at the 14U, 15U and 18U levels and have also previously competed as a 13U team.

The 10U team, which is looking for players at all positions, is open to players born on or after May 1, 2003 and will begin training in January at the FPU Bubble. Tryouts will be held over the next few months at FPU to fill the roster. A head coach will be selected in the next few weeks and will be working with Devin Saveall, the 10U Program Director.

For more information about the 10U program or to schedule a tryout, contact Saveall at (978) 424-6057 or manager10u@neravens.com.

In addition to the 10U program being added, the Ravens organization has announced tryouts for the 10U, 14U, 15U and 18U teams will be held Sept. 8 at FPU’s Pappas Field. The tryouts will start at 6 p.m. with registrations beginning at 5 p.m.

Coaches in the program include Tom Cote, Mike Chambers, Jim Coppo, Tim Allen, Aric Leclair and Devin Saveall.
