Mural makers

Antrim Elementary School fourth-graders Chloe Griggs, Willow Baribault, Maggie Baribault, Lizzie Jessie, from left, and Shayla Isotti-Thompson, kneeling, show off the mural they helped create as part of a month-long collaborative project with the Harris Center for Conservation Education, with help from ConVal’s arts integration, library and technology integration specialists. This project involved the exploration of a local ecosystem, the Great Brook wetlands, and the creation of realistic field guides and mural panels to represent students’ findings, which are now on display at the school. AES students admire the mural, which was unveiled at a gathering of the community and families prior to Tuesday’s School Board meeting.
