About broadband debate in Rindge
To the editor:
In response to Larry Cleveland and Selectwoman Roberta Oeser’s notions concerning Broadband Internet here in Rindge:
I’d like to let you both in on a little secret. While this so called FastRoads project was running lines, so was FairPoint Communications.
We have FairPoint’s DSL broadband here at home. We have two PC 8.1 laptops, plus the tower type. We have Netflix on our HD TV, plus DIRECTV on demand, and my smart phone when I’m home. Streaming movies is not a problem.
And just so you both know, Ingalls Memorial Library also has FairPoint as they never switched. Yes, all you Ingalls sidewalk broadband surfers, it’s FairPoint’s DSL that lets you surf the net while running all the rest of the library’s computers.
So will you both find something else to debate about?
