Thanks, pancake breakfast donors and volunteers
To the editor:
The Monadnock Community Early Learning Center held its third annual Pancake Breakfast on April 26, as a part of “A Week of the Young Children Celebration” to honor children and their teachers. We would like to sincerely thank all of our donors this year, as we could not have done this without the help of community businesses and volunteers.
Our list of business food donors include: C & S Wholesale Grocers of Keene, NH, Nature’s Green Grocer of Peterborough, Hannaford of Rindge, Shaw’s of Peterborough and D. D. Bean & Sons Co. of Jaffrey. We also had food donations by the Board of Directors and families.
For the raffle items, we received generous donations from Jaffrey businesses: Country Bridals, Daffodils, Tangled Salon, McDonald’s, and Belletetes; Jordana Korsen from Harrisville; Peterborough businesses: Healing Hands, Toadstool, Magic Flute and Manhattan East.
We would also like to send a big thanks to Denise Barlow and the American Legion Hall-John Humiston Post 11, Glen and Susan Peterson, Kathy Hill, Mike Gallagher, Chayce Merenda, Kim Stanway and Grace Wirein for generously donating their time to help host, cook, set up, greet, sell tickets, serve and clean up.
The breakfast was delicious and we hope everyone that joined us was pleased with the food and service.
With our sincerest thanks,
Board President, on behalf of the Monadnock Community Early Learning Center Board of Directors
