Taking home the titles

The ConVal Soccer Club U12 girls team won the B Division championship at the Amherst Soccer Club Memorial Day Tournament. The team, made up of 5th and 6th graders from SMS, went 5-0 over the weekend and outscored their opponents 21-2. In the finals, ConVal beat World Cup of Greater Nashua 2-1. The ConVal Soccer Club U13 boys team defeated Ocean State Soccer School (RI) 5-3 in the finals of the Amherst Soccer Club Memorial Day Tournament. Max Sturges scored three goals, while Jackson Perry and Matt Kolk each added a goal in the finals. The team was 5-0 overall and won all three pool game by outscoring its opponents 14-3. ConVal also won 4-1 in the semifinals.
