Paintings on  display at the library

An exhibit of acrylic paintings by Jerome Varnum are on display in the Art Corner of the Peterborough Town Library.

Varnum is primarily self-taught and prefers using bright colors. The paintings include landscapes, various wildlife and two portraits.

He resides in Bennington with his wife Barbara and works from his home studio.

The Confederate Postal History collection is on display in the showcase, courtesy of H. Fred Gamarsh.

Both exhibit are on view during library hours throughout May.
