The Monadnock International Film Festival presents the documentary "Not Yet Begun To Fight" as part of their ongoing series.
The film will screen at 7 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Peterborough Community Theatre, in honor of Veterans Day.
Local filmmaker Sabrina Lee will lead a Q&A following the screening of her film.
This award-winning documentary offers an unconventional look at the impact of war and the journey to recovery, as a group of injured veterans learn the zen of fly fishing in Montana.
“Not Yet Begun to Fight” has received numerous festival prizes and was hand-picked by world-renowned film critic Roger Ebert to screen at his personal film festival. The film also was designated as a New York Times "Top Pick for Television” upon its National Broadcast Premiere on PBS. Tickets are $5 for MONIFF members (Fanatic members free), $10 for not-yet members. A membership discount will be available for one night only for new members who sign up that evening. Veterans (with I.D.) and their families will be admitted for free.
A special bonus for the evening will be a raffle for a free pair of film passes to the next film festival which will be held April 19-22.
