Charges pending in domestic violence case
LYNDEBOROUGH — A domestic disturbance on June 23 resulted in an arrest for assault after police were called to the scene.
Lyndeborough police, assisted by Wilton police, responded to a reported disturbance on Lavina Lane in Lyndeborough.
Following investigation, police arrested Curt Simpson, 63, of Lyndeborough. Simpson was charged with obstructing the report of a crime or injury and simple assault — domestic violence related. Simpson was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court, Milford, and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of July 15 at 8:30 a.m.
In other Police Department news, police are warning residents to lock their vehicles and keep electronics or other valuables out of sight within their vehicles, after reports of thefts from motor vehicles have been reported. Two cars on Center Road were reported to have had items taken from them on June 25. Stolen items included GPS devices and hearing aids.
