Friday, Aug. 30
Accident report: At 2:28 p.m., a Dublin woman reported that her husband’s 2007 Nissan Sentra had been hit by a box truck earlier in the day as he was turning from Main Street onto Concord Street. The car had moderate damage to the driver’s side and was driven away.
Noise complaint: At 10:07 p.m., police spoke to several juveniles after getting a complaint about noise at the Peterborough Elementary School playground. The juveniles said they were on their way home.
Saturday, Aug. 31
Animal complaint: At 10:41 a.m., police were notified of two goats running loose on Wilton Road. Police were able to corral the goats and take them home. At 3:46 p.m., a resident reported the goats were back on the road. Police got them back onto the owner’s property again and contacted the owner.
Arrest: At 8 p.m., Swanzey police arrested Richard St. Pierre, 18, of Swanzey on a Peterborough warrant charging him with resisting arrest. St. Pierre was released on $1,500 personal recognizance with an Oct. 7 court date in 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.
Assist: At 11:38 p.m., police observed two people walking on Route 202 North. They told police they were walking from a party because their designated driver got drunk and they did not want to ride with him. Police gave them a courtesy ride to Dublin.
Sunday, Sept. 1
Arrest: At 4 p.m., after a traffic stop on Route 202 North for alleged speeding, police arrested Hasnel Infante, 24, of Lawrence, Mass., and charged him with driving after license suspension. He was released on personal recognizance bail with an Oct. 7 court date.
Monday, Sept. 2
Criminal mischief: At 11 a.m., a Peterborough man reported his 1995 Subaru Impreza had been “keyed” on the driver’s-side door the previous night, while it was parked either at Riverview Apartments or at the Shell station.
