Criminal Mischief: At 9:33 p.m., the Mason Recreation Committee reported vandalism to the concession stand at the Mason baseball park. According to police, the door of the concession stand had pry marks, but nothing inside the structure appeared to be taken. Mason police conducted a foot patrol of the area, finding empty Bud Light beer cans that had been in place for sometime due to their weathered condition. According to Mason police, several footprints were in the area, but had little evidentiary value having been washed by the rain. Investigation is ongoing.

Theft: At 9:40 p.m., Mason resident Barbara Devore reported property stolen from her residence on Wilton road. Investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, May 10

Motor vehicle accident: At 3:56 a.m., Mason police responded to a single vehicle accident on Turnpike road near the Townsend, Mass., border. According to police, Michelle Wornham of 192 Adams Hill Road in Greenville had driven her vehicle over the embankment. Wornham was arrested for driving under the influence.
