Cruisin’ for a cure

  • Mascenic Regional High School students donned pink last week in show of support for cancer victims during the school's "Pink Day," which included a visit from a pink fire truck.
  • "The Ellen," a 1978 Maxim pumper fire truck was once owned by the New Ipswich Fire Department. Now re-purposed, the truck, painted pink and covered with signatures of cancer fighters and survivors, belongs to the Southern N.H. chapter of Guardians of the Women, which is based in New Ipswich. Guardians of the Women is a society that supports all women fighting all kinds of cancer.
