Tuesday, Nov. 19

Assist: At 1:20 a.m., police assisted workers at Monadnock Community Hospital with an unruly patient. At 6:35 a.m., police returned and assisted again with calming the same patient.

Road hazard: At 1:09 p.m., a resident reported a tree on wires along Route 123 in Sharon. Police stood by until PSNH workers arrived and removed the tree.

Theft report: At 7:49 p.m., a Manchester man reported that someone had stolen some items from his mother’s residence at Prescott Hill Apartments.

Animal issue: At 8:31 p.m., police dispatched an injured deer found on the side of Route 202 near the Jaffrey town line.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

Arrest: At 9:49 a.m., Jackson A. Piscopo, 20, of Peterborough turned himself in on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in Superior Court on a Peterborough indictment for a 2011 burglary. He was processed and taken by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department to Valley Street Jail in Manchester.

Disturbance: At 10:37 p.m., police went to Peterborough Plaza after getting a report of a disturbance. After speaking to people involved, police determined that several men had been in an argument, which was reported to have been physical. No one was injured, but police opened an assault investigation.

Accident: At 11:25 p.m., Bonita Foote, 49, of Peterborough was driving west on Route 101 near Old Street Road when she reportedly hit a deer. Her 2013 Subaru Legacy had heavy front-end damage and was towed. The dead deer was taken by a passing motorist.

Friday, Nov. 22

Accident: At 4:35 p.m., police went to Elm Hill Road after getting a report that two people had apparently been involved in an accident at another location. Police determined that Kenton Young, 78, of Sharon had inadvertently backed his 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck into a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Linda Perkins, 54, of New Ipswich, as both drivers were leaving the Big Apple convenience store on Route 101. Young told police he didn’t realize he had hit Perkins’ car hard enough to cause damage. He had driven off, but he pulled over when he saw Perkins, who had followed him, flashing her lights. There was paint transfer on Young’s left rear bumper; the damage to Perkins’ car was to the left front bumper, left front light and left front hood.

Saturday, Nov. 23

Theft report: At 12:50 p.m., a Greenfield resident reported that his daughter’s iPod had been taken from her locker at South Meadow School on Nov. 18.

Road conditions: At 8:07 p.m. and 9 p.m., police were notified that cars had gone off Route 101. Police were unable to locate either car. The N.H. Highway Department was notified that the road was snow-covered and icy.

Road hazard: At 11:32 p.m., police stood by on Route 123 in Sharon until PSNH workers arrived to remove a tree that had fallen on wires.

Sunday, Nov. 24

Road hazard: At 9:28 a.m., trees and wires were down on Four Winds Farm Road, making it temporarily impassable. Police notified the Department of Public Works and PSNH.
