Water fun comes downtown

For the fourth summer in a row, the Jaffrey Fire Department will be bringing watery fun to the front lawn of the Jaffrey Public Library.

All ages are invited to come on July 11 at 2 p.m. for bucket brigades, water relay races, a good soaking, and more.

The program is free of charge, and no registration is required. It’s one of many special programs that the library has planned as part of the 2013 Summer Reading Program, “Dig into Reading.”

For more information, call the Children’s Room at 532-7301.
