A successful summer season
To the editor:
Project Shakespeare just completed its most ambitious season since relocating to the Monadnock area in 2006, performing 10 shows of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet in 11 days in six locations.
This would not have been possible if not for the work of so many. Too many names to list but allow me to thank you all in the areas you served. Thank you to the Board of Directors, the season supporters and advertisers for your generous donation of time and funding. Thank you to the United Church of Jaffrey for the rehearsal and performance space, the Jaffrey Civic Center, The Monadnock Inn for the use of the Oribe Barn, the Cornucopia Project in Peterborough, ConVal High School and Cathedral of the Pines — all wonderful performing venues. The parents of the acting company were all incredibly supportive.
Special thanks to the “For England!” fundraising team for an impressive beginning to our campaign. A huge thanks to creative team Steven A. Thurber, Bruce Dodge, Becca Migotsky , Christopher Commander, and Associate Director Angela Vroom and Saskia Vroom, and to the students: Christopher Commander, Genna Weidner, River Johanson, Jared Duncan, Patrick Sherlock, Abigail Sherlock, Yasmine Seghir, Ryan Hoiriis, Jamie Ammon, Emma Tenters, Gabrielle Ramsden, Grace Ramsden, Aubrie Hendrickson, Jennifer Migotsky, Hannah Bernier, Anna Taylor, Kaitlynn Shea, Arthur Gould, Cailin Ennis, Alexa Murray, Sarah Hurley and Erin Weidner.
Finally thank you to our audiences — without your support and enthusiasm we would not be able to continue bringing quality, transformative theater education to the Monadnock region.
