Thursday, Dec. 12

Shoplifting: At 11:06 a.m., police responded to a report of shoplifting at Walmart. Alicia Boudreau, 25, of Winchendon, Mass., allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for some items. Boudreau was arrested and charged with willful concealment,. She was released on summons with a court date of Jan. 8 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey.

Possession: At 6:30 p.m., David Thomas, 30, of Rindge was served a summons to appear in court on Jan. 8 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey, for the charge of possession of a controlled substance, believed to be marijuana.

Friday, Dec. 13

Shoplifting: At 3:40 p.m., police responded to a report of shoplifting at Walmart. Kerri Toro, 23, of North Dighton, Mass., allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. Toro was arrested and charged with willful concealment. She was released on a summons to appear in court on Jan. 8 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey.

False I.D.: At 4:45 p.m., police served Franklin Pierce University student Adam Holmes, 18, of West Suffield, Conn., two summonses to appear on Feb. 5 at 8th District Court, Jaffrey, for the charges of possession false identification and attempting to purchase alcohol. Both charges are a result of an incident that allegedly occurred on Sept. 28.

Saturday, Dec. 14

Arrest: At 11:07 a.m., police were doing a welfare check at a residence when they located a person with an active warrant for arrest. Police arrested Meggie Duffy, 29, of Rindge, who was charged with willful concealment for allegedly stealing merchandise from Walmart earlier in the year. Duffy was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and was issued a Jan. 8 court date at 8th District Court, Jaffrey.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Car accident: At 10 p.m., police responded to Forestall Road for a single-car crash. Kailey French, 16, of Winchendon, Mass., was driving her 2002 Chevy Cavalier when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a telephone pole. According to police, the cause of the accident was a combination of poor driving conditions on snowy and slushy roads, as well as driver inexperience. No injuries were reported, and the car was towed.
