Patriots play in State Games

The Monadnock Valley Patriots played in the state basketball tournament held in Derry on April 5. The newly formed adult special Olympics team had its most competitive tournament yet, with every athlete on the team scoring a basket, and playing very hard. The Patriots had two teams in the tournament, one placed forth while the other finished in fifth. After the games, the teams enjoyed lunch and mingled with the other athletes from the tournament.
